<title><![CDATA[When should mom start pumping...]]></title>

When should mom start pumping? •	
If baby does not nurse immediately postpartum, mom should begin pumping within 6 hours of baby's birth -- starting early makes a difference for future milk production.

What pump is best? •
-If baby is not nursing, seriously consider renting a hospital-grade pump (such as those made by Ameda or Medela) that will allow you to pump both breasts at the same time. A hospital-grade pump is the best choice for maintaining or increasing milk supply. 
-If you are not able to rent a hospital-grade pump, consider buying a pump (preferably a quality double pump) and/or hand expression.

How much milk should mom be pumping if baby is not nursing? 
-Aim for pumping 750-800 mL (25-27 oz) per day by 7-10 days postpartum. If you have twins or higher order multiples, aim for pumping 800-950 mL (27-32 oz) by 14 days postpartum. 
-It's useful to evaluate mom's 24 hour pumping output at 10 days. If supply is borderline (350-500 ml / 11-17 oz) or low (less than 350 ml / 11 oz), then galactagogues (prescription meds or herbs to increase supply) or other interventions should be considered. 
-The research tells us that milk production at 2 weeks is an indicator of breastfeeding outcome, so it is important to get a good start. Even if milk production doesn't start out well, however, don't get discouraged--many moms will see an increase (even as late as 9-15 weeks after birth) if they continue with regular pumping.

How often should mom pump? 
-8-10 times per day: Until supply is well established, it is important to get at least eight good nursing and/or pumping sessions per 24 hours. Ten sessions per day is better, particularly if you have twins or higher order multiples. 
-These sessions don't need to be evenly spaced, but you should be nursing/pumping at least once during the night in the first few months or anytime you notice a decrease in supply. Avoid going longer than 5-6 hours without pumping during the first few months. 
-When pumping during the night, milk yield tends to be better if you pump when you naturally wake (to go to the bathroom or because your breasts are uncomfortably full) than if you set an alarm to wake for pumping. 
-If you are having a hard time getting in enough pumping sessions, adding even a short pumping session (increasing frequency even if milk is not removed thoroughly) is helpful.

How long should mom pump at each pumping session? 
-If baby does not nurse at all: 
   oThe first few days, before mom's milk comes in, hand expression is often the most effective way to express colostrum. Double pump for 10-15 minutes per session for additional stimulation. 
   oOnce mom's milk is in, pump for 30 minutes per session, or for 2-5 minutes after the last drops of milk.
-If baby nurses but does not soften the breast well 
   oDouble pump for 10-15 minutes after nursing.
-Empty the breast as thoroughly as possible at each session. To ensure that the pump removes an optimum amount of milk from the breast, keep pumping for 2-5 minutes after the last drops of milk. Use breast massage prior to pumping, and massage and compressions during pumping to better empty the breasts and increase pumping output.

Additional tips 
•	Rest & relax as much as possible. 
•	Skin-to-skin (Kangaroo care) can make a significant difference in pumping output. 
•	If double pumping is difficult to coordinate in the beginning, then single pump, alternating sides. Move to double pumping as soon as you can. 
•	Avoid any medications that might interfere with milk supply (hormonal birth control, pseudoephedrine, ethanol/alcoholic beverages, bromocriptine, ergotamine, cabergoline) 
•	If supply is not increasing as expected by 7-10 days after birth, consider the use of galactagogues. Fenugreek, metoclopramide (Reglan) or domperidone (Motilium) can be helpful for increasing milk supply.

<title><![CDATA[Basic Tips for Increasing Milk Supply]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Eat nutritiously – your body is burning extra calories to make your baby’s milk. Be sure you’re getting enough calories that include plenty of protein and calcium. 

Ø       Drink lots of water – you need to keep your body hydrated at all times.

Ø       Get as much rest as you possibly can – stress and fatigue are big supply “busters”

Ø       EMPTY your breasts every 1½ to 2 hours (via baby or pump). Although nursing is preferred, if the baby cannot nurse directly, consider a “Hospital Grade” pump. These pumps are much more effective and are specifically designed to help moms increase their milk supply. Rental stations can be found on www.medela.com or www.ameda.com. Be sure your breastshields fit your nipples properly. Both manufacturers make larger or smaller breastshields to insure a proper fit so you are more comfortable and more productive. Remember, it’s more important to empty your breasts for 10 minutes every 2 hours, than to pump for 30 minutes every 4 hours. “Supply and Demand” is Key!

Ø       Eat Oatmeal everyday – a bowl of oatmeal, cookies, or breakfast bars can help a lot of moms.

Ø       Consider the use of Galactogogues – More Milk Plus and Fenugreek(both available from EBS) is a popular “first step” herb , Metoclopramide (Reglan), or Domperidone (Motilium).

Uzair first hair cut kat Barber aka mamak kat kedai dekat ngan umah. Selama nie ayahnya yang gunting rambut dia nie... balik dari kuar ngan ayah berdua last two weeks .. LOL ... nak plak tu selama nie kalu ajak .. jenuh  x nak... dah sampai kat kedai plak tu ....Uzair nie pantang tengok org kuar umah mesti dia nak ikut.. jadik sebelum dia nak ikut, Ayah kata kene gunting rambut :-> .... hensem dan montel  jea lepas gunting kalu tak rambut depan tu nak masuk mata jea

Uwais plak masa nie kat kg Pekan... balik kampung sempena bulan posa... balik pun 2 hari jea.. penat. Dok ajak n ajak, teacher telefon suruh gunting rambut.. (rambut dah macam topi keledar dah).. last2 tu nak plak.. takut jugak sampai kedai  x nak... tapi okay jea duduk diam2... tapi yang x best tu kita suruh potong style david beckham, mamak tu plak salah faham dia potong style askar... :P ... geram betul..Uwais okay jea... maknya yang bebel2... tapi okay jugak at least kemas... tapi botak la skit... ;-) .. masa raya ok kot rambut dah tumbuh

Tapi kalu citer kat dia lawa anak mak nie .. hensem rambut cam Mawi dan David Bechkam :-D .. 

Bulan September sempena bulan puasa nie nak plak dua2 sekali gunting rambut.. lega rasa ... :->

<title><![CDATA[Preparing Your Body For Labor & Delivery]]></title>

Preparing Your Body for Labor and Delivery
Labor and delivery are the culmination of nine months of anticipation and are part of one of the most intense, exciting moments in most women's lives. However, while your body and your baby may be ready to go, you may not feel sufficiently prepared for the big day. Any great physical effort requires mental and physical training, whether you are running a marathon, climbing a mountain, or delivering a baby. 

 
Attending childbirth classes will teach you what to expect during each phase of labor, as well as useful relaxation and breathing techniques. Most hospitals and birth centers offer classes for pregnant women and their birth partners; but there are also private classes, instructional videos and DVDs, and even online classes. Practicing at home with your partner between classes will help you feel even more prepared. Begin by practicing your relaxation technique, then have your partner time mock contractions and breathe through them, concentrating on ignoring any distractions and relaxing the rest of your body. The more time you spend preparing yourself, the more likely you will be able to face labor with (relative) confidence and minimal anxiety.

There are also exercises you can do at home that will simulate some of the work you'll be doing during labor, and strengthen the muscle groups you'll be using most. Starting in your first trimester, do the following exercises 2-3 times a week.

1)Position yourself on your hands and knees, keeping your knees directly under your hips and your hands under your shoulders. Keep your back as straight as possible and align your head and spine. Contract your abdominal muscles while exhaling and imagine that you are pulling your baby towards your spine with your abdominal muscles. Relax while inhaling, but don't let your back sag or arch. Rest for 30 seconds, then repeat. Do 2 sets of 8-10 repetitions. This exercise not only strengthens the abdominal muscles, it's a great back pain reliever as well.

2) Sit on the floor, position a stack of pillows behind your back for support, and bend your legs at a 90-degree angle so you are leaning back into a semi-reclined position. Your knees should be about shoulder-width apart. Place your hands on the backs of your thighs, with your elbows pointing out to the side. Keeping your head and spine aligned and your chin up, inhale while tilting your pelvis upward so your body curls into a C-shape. Pull your abdominal muscles in towards your spine while you relax your pelvic floor muscles. Hold this position for 5 seconds while you slowly exhale, then relax and inhale. Take two deep breaths in between each set. Repeat 2-3 times. This exercise strengthens your abdominal muscles and simulates the mechanics you'll use during pushing.

3) On a mat or carpeted floor, kneel on your left knee beside a chair. Make sure your knee is directly under your hip. Keep your right foot flat on the floor, with your knee directly over your heel. Hold onto the chair for support with your right hand and lean slightly forward from the hips. Tilt your pelvis upward to keep your spine neutral. In your left hand, pick up a 3-5 pound dumbbell weight, and let your arm hang toward the floor with your palm facing backward. Bend your left elbow up and back while pulling your shoulder blades together. Bring your elbow back far enough to feel a stretch in your chest muscles without rotating your torso, then return to the starting position. Do 8-10 reps on with the left arm, and then switch arms. Do 2 sets on each side. This exercise strengthens your upper-back and shoulder muscles, which will help you to keep your chest open during labor, making breathing easier.

4) Kegel Exercises: Contract the muscles around your vagina as if you were stopping the flow of urine. Hold this for 3 seconds, then relax until it feels as if you are going to gently push out a little bit of urine. Repeat; holding for 5 seconds this time. Relax and repeat, but try to hold it for 10 seconds. Do 1 set of 6-10 repetitions (holding for 10 seconds), 3 times a day. This exercise strengthens the pelvic-floor muscles and teaches you how to relax them during the pushing phase of labor.

5) Stand facing the back of a chair with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart, toes pointed outward. Hold on to the back of the chair for support. Squat toward the floor as though you were going to sit down on a chair. Contract your abdominal muscles, lift your chest, and relax your shoulders. Most of your weight should be on your heels. Return to a standing position. Repeat 10 times. This exercise strengthens your thighs and helps open your pelvis.

6) Sit on the floor straight against a wall with the soles of your feet touching each other. Pull your feet in towards you as much as you can. Gently press your knees down and away from each other - but don't force them apart. Stretch as long as you're comfortable. This exercise will help open up your pelvis and loosen your hip joints in preparation for birth, as well as improve your posture and ease tension in your lower back.


Perineal massage  is another good way to prepare your body for labor and delivery. It conditions the perineum for the baby's head and prevents tearing. Begin performing daily massages approximately five to six weeks before your due date. To perform the massage, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water and make sure your fingernails are trimmed. Sit comfortably with your legs spread apart. Apply K-Y jelly or other lubricant to your thumbs and insert them in your vagina. Press downward toward your rectum, until you feel a gentle stretching. You may feel a slight burning or other discomfort; this is normal. However, stop immediately if you feel any sharp pain. Hold this stretch until the tingling subsides and gently massage the lower part of the vaginal canal back and forth. Repeat the massage daily for about 8 to 10 minutes per session.

In addition to the specific exercises suggested here, general fitness increases your energy level and endurance, and maintains muscle tone and strength - all very important during labor and delivery. However, check with your doctor before starting any exercise regimen to be sure it is safe for you and your baby.

How your baby's growing 
If your baby's a boy, his testicles have probably moved into his scrotum. Sometimes, one or both testicles don't get into position until after birth but don't worry. How your life's changing 

You're probably gaining around 450g /1 lb a week now, and roughly half of that goes straight to your baby. In fact, he gains a third to half of his birth weight during the next seven weeks, fattening up for survival outside the womb. Thanks to these fatty deposits, his skin is getting plumper and healthier looking. Follow our tips for eating well over the next few weeks. 

It's hard enough to get to sleep when you're pregnant without worrying about whether you're disturbing your partner too. Follow our tips for a safe night's snooze. If you're concerned that sex in the final months will harm your baby, stop worrying. For most women, sex during pregnancy is fine right up until their waters break and may even help jump-start labour, if the baby's overdue. So go for it! 

Planning ahead 
Midwives often recommend staying at home for as long as possible in the early phase of first stage labour. You could use a TENS machine to take the edge off the pain as the strength of the contractions increases - you may be able to hire one from a local pharmacy or from a company on the internet.

رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الأبْرَارِ رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَى رُسُلِكَ وَلاَ تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

Wahai Tuhan kami! Sebenarnya sesiapa yang Engkau masukkan ke dalam Neraka maka sesungguhnya Engkau telah menghinakannya dan orang-orang yang zalim tidak akan beroleh seorang penolong pun. Wahai Tuhan kami! Sesungguhnya kami telah mendengar seorang Penyeru (Rasul) yang menyeru kepada iman, katanya: Berimanlah kamu kepada Tuhan kamu, maka kami pun beriman. Wahai Tuhan kami, ampunkanlah dosa-dosa kami dan hapuskanlah daripada kami kesalahan-kesalahan kami dan matikanlah kami bersama orang-orang yang berbakti (yang banyak berbuat kebajikan). Wahai Tuhan kami! Berikanlah kepada kami pahala yang telah Engkau janjikan kepada kami melalui Rasul-rasulMu dan janganlah Engkau hinakan kami pada hari kiamat; sesungguhnya Engkau tidak memungkiri janji. 

Doa anak tetap mengerjakan sembahyang - Surah Ibrahim ayat 40-41 

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلاَةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاء رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ

Wahai Tuhanku! Jadikanlah daku orang yang mendirikan sembahyang dan demikianlah juga zuriat keturunanku. Wahai Tuhan kami, perkenankanlah doa permohonanku. Wahai Tuhan kami! Berilah ampun bagiku dan bagi kedua ibu bapaku serta bagi orang-orang yang beriman, pada masa berlakunya hitungan amal dan pembalasan

Kehidupan suami isteri ketika mengandung akan mempengaruhi janin. Oleh itu terdapat adab-adab yang perlu bagi suami dan isteri 

Adab isteri terhadap suami ketika mengandung  
Mengasihi dan menyayangi suami 
Menjaga perkataan terhadap suami 
Tidak terlalu cerewet 
Menjauhi daripada perasaan yang tidak baik terhadap suami 
Menghargai pandangan dan nasihat yang diberikan suami, orang tua serta ahli keluarga 
Menghormati kaum muslimin dan muslimat serta berbuat baik kepada mereka
Menjauhi dari mengumpat dan menghina orang lain.

Adab suami terhadap isteri 
Menunjukkan kasih sayang terhadap isteri 
Jujur dan setia pada isteri serta tidak memberi layanan yang kejam dan kasar  
Selesaikan selisih faham 
Tidak mudah menjatuhkan talak atau mengeluarkan perkataan yang sama sepertinya. 
Kerap melakukan sembahyang sunat dan mendoakan isteri dan anak selamat

<title><![CDATA[BACAAN TAHLIL N YASIN BEFORE PUASA..]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Alhamdulilah.. our department managed to organize bacaan tahlil n yasin just before puasa... and all staff were invited. The event was suppose to start off by 11.00 am but however some technical problem occured... ;-) . it delayed to 11.30 am and was headed by Ustaz Din....thanks ustaz 8-) ...

semoga majlis yang dijalankan mendapat keberkatan Allah...

<title><![CDATA[Selamat Menyambut  Ramadhan Al Mubarak ]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Do'a malaikat Jibril menjelang Ramadhan " "Ya Allah tolong abaikan puasa ummat Muhammad, 
Apabila sebelum memasuki bulan Ramadhan dia tidak melakukan hal-hal yang berikut: 
* Tidak memohon maaf terlebih dahulu kepada kedua orang tuanya (jika masih Ada);
* Tidak berma'afan terlebih dahulu antara suami isteri;
* Tidak bermaafan terlebih dahulu dengan orang-orang sekitarnya.

Maka Rasulullah pun mengatakan Aamiin sebanyak 3 kali. Dapatkah Kita
Bayangkan: yang berdo'a adalah Malaikat Dan yang mengamiinkan adalah
Rasullullah Dan para sahabat, Dan dilakukan pada Hari Jumaat.

Oleh itu saya terlebih dahulu MEMOHON AMPUN DAN MAAF jika saya Ada berbuat
Kesalahan, baik yang tidak disengaja maupun yang disengaja, semoga
Kita dapat menjalani ibadah puasa dengan khusyuk, diberkati Dan dirahmatiAllah S.W.T, Insyaallah. 


Selamat Menyambut  Ramadhan Al Mubarak 
Semoga Ramadhan membawa keberkatan kepada semua Dan mengukuhkan ukhwah yang terbina. 
Sekali lagi saya menyusun sepuluh jari memohon maaf atas keterlanjuran kata Dan perbuatan,
